Admission Information Virtual Fair for International Students 2020

1. Objective
This fair is designed for international students who are currently enrolled in Japanese language institutions and are planning to enter universities (including graduate schools), junior colleges, colleges of technology and professional training colleges (postsecondary course) and the like (hereafter referred to as ''universities, etc.''). With the participation of schools in Japan, this fair provides up-to-date, accurate information about Japanese higher education and research in order to help students select an appropriate school.
2. Schedule and Type of Exhibitors
- Saturday, November 21, 2020: 12:00 - 15:00 Specialized Training Colleges (postsecondary course)
- Sunday, November 22, 2020: 12:00 - 15:00 Universities and Junior Colleges
- Saturday, November 28, 2020: 12:00 - 15:00 Universities and Junior Colleges

3. Target
International students who are currently enrolled in Japanese language institutions in Japan and are planning to enter institutions of higher education in Japan, the instructors and staff of Japanese language institutions, etc.

5. Program
The Admission Information Virtual Fair for International Students special website (hereinafter referred to as the "special website") will be opening with the following content. (1) and (3) will be available for viewing at all times from the opening of the special website until the end of the virtual guidance fair.
(1)Exhibitor Information
Provision of information on exhibitors by posting school introduction videos, entrance examinations, application information, etc. in Japanese on the exhibitor page of the special website.
(2)Live sessions by exhibitors (to be held following the same schedule as 2 above)
Presentations on the educational content and characteristics of each exhibitor, discussions by senior international students, etc., to promote understanding of the characteristics of the exhibitors and further interest.
In addition, individual consultations will be conducted using a chat function. The live stream will be recorded and posted on the Study in Japan website for a certain period of time (about one month) after the virtual guidance fair.
(3)Seminars
Videos of JASSO staff talking about studying in Japan, the EJU, and Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship will be created and posted on the special website.
