Annual average temperature is about 15℃. On summer, temperature rises and it usually rains much. On winter, it has sunny days, but it often gets dry due to the strong wind. This seasonal strong wind is callded "Karakkaze".

"Kashiyayokocho"is lined with 20 stores such as a mom-and-pop candy store or Japanese pickled food shop. You can eat around for sweets which use local sweet potatoes. They are popular among people of all ages.

You can also take the retro-style SEIBU-trains, which are running through the great natural scenary . "Bukousan" would be the most famous mountain in Chichibu. You can see limestone carve and take a hot spring there. It is a famous spot among mountain climbers
