Celebrating diversity, we offer progressive education supported by pioneering research
Aichi Shukutoku University was established in 1975 as a women’s university. On the 20th anniversary of our university, in 1995, we became co-educational to respond to the demands of the changing times and increasing diversification of society. By adopting a philosophy of “celebrating diversity” we have been striving to include students from a wide range of backgrounds irrespective of their gender, age and nationality. There are 9 faculties, 5 graduate schools and the Center for Japanese Language and Culture (CJLC).
The University has two campuses-Hoshigaoka campus in Nagoya and Nagakute campus in Nagakute. On Nagakute campus, we have an on-campus residence hall (international house) for international students.
